It’s my favorite time of year ! *cue Christmas music* by the title this post will be about my Christmas decor in my living room. I don’t know about you guys but I love Christmas time and all the Christmas themed decor, activities and food. Around thanksgiving I began shopping for tree ornaments and other decor for my house. I must say, living down the street from hobby lobby is amazing because I’ve gone so many times to pick up things. Luckily, all Xmas decor is half off at Hobby Lobby so I saved a good amount money . Everything pictured is from HL minus the stocking that I got at Target. Growing up we always had the colorful lights and multi-colors ornaments so since this is our first Christmas here in our home I decided on a white and gold theme, hints of gold throughout the tree which I think goes pretty well with the white ornaments.I got this white snow flake table cloth and found matching napkins yesterday. I picked up the gingerbread plates, the Santa plate and the flower baskets I put together as finishing touch. Under the gingerbread plates, there’s two that are of Santa and two that say ” Have a holly jolly Christmas “. I thought the snowflakes on each corner was a nice accent as well. I took a few close up detail shots so you can see the what’s in the baskets. I got four of the white flowers, the Pom poms, and the smaller gold ones along with the big gold Pom poms. I bought beads that matched the color theme and placed them in that. Initially, I was going to buy just one of these gingerbread plates but I found more and decided to place them around the table. I was going to use one to set the gingerbread house that we are going to make on but I ended finding a different place for that. This one is the same as the first. I ended up going back to Hobby Lobby and bought more of these flowers, pom poms and beads to make a second one for the table. This Santa plate I found I thought would be a nice center piece. It’ll be used when we make our gingerbread house. I hope you all enjoyed my Christmas decor tour! What xmas decor is your favorite ? And where do you all buy your holiday items ?
