Fall Favorites

Now that the weather is changing from Summer to fall, what I use on my hair and skin changes. I use a variety of products as it gets colder because my skin has different needs from summer to fall. So I’m going to share my current hair and skin favorites. Being that I have naturally curly hair, what I use during the summer months is different to fall/winter months. I use The Mane Choice and Cantu products. I use a cleansing rinse by Treluxe then detangle and condition with The Mane Choice Detangling Hydration Conditioner, I deep condition with this also. For a leave in I use Cantu Argan Oil Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream. I have used this a lot before and I love it, it’s not overly thick and it hydrates my hair enough without weighing it down. For my edges I use The Mane Choice Laid Back Effortlessly edge control, now this is the best edge control I’ve ever used. My edges stay slicked down all day, there isn’t any sticky or white residue and it helps grow your edges at the same time. These three products are my go tos for wash days. Normally I use african black soap to wash my face and body but I ran out so I got the Clean and Clear Deep Action Shower Mask, my skin is a combination of normal, oily and dry and this balances everything out. My face doesn’t feel tight after rinsing it off and it really cleans my skin enough to where it feels clean and fresh. The Nivea in Shower Body Lotion feels like heaven and smells so good too. This one I got in cocoa butter, and my skin can get more dry as the colder weather approaches so this lotion moisturized my skin for the whole day and with this I have extra time to spend to on my hair since you use it on the shower. It doesn’t feel sticky or leaves a film on your skin. I have always used shea butter ( my favorite ) but I like to try new and different products to see what I like.
