Friday at Tanger

Today was a beautiful sunny warm day and I took Aviana to Tanger Outlets in Deer Park. Depending on where you live in Long Island you either go to this location or the one out in Riverhead. It’s a 35 minute drive to Tanger without traffic, and I’ve actually never been to this one I have been to the one out in Riverhead a few times. Tanger is a bunch of outlet stores that form a shopping mall, there’s Nike, Carters, Adidas,Old Navy, Starbucks, Coach and many other stores. When we got there we walked around and went to Osh Kosh and I ended up buying a couple of clothes for Aviana (good thing for sales) and then went to Chipotle for some food. Aside from the stores here, the scenery itself is beautiful. There are a lot of colorful flowers scattered around the mall and water fountains. It’s a big area to explore and shop around but you get to see so much of everything that it doesn’t feel like you’re walking around forever. There’s stores are every end and corner even, a movie theater in the middle of it all. There are a lot of benches scattered around to sit and enjoy the views and relax for a while also. My brother works at Tanger so when he got off work we hung out for a while and walked around. I went to Carters and got more baby clothes, he went to Oakley while we were in there. They have great sales and so many cute things. Then we walked to this fountain here and it turns out to be a wishing fountain, this is my favorite area of the entire shopping mall because I love the flowers around it and it’s very peaceful and calming. I’ll admit I almost got lost at one point because every section is similar to one another and being that it was my first time there I remembered where the theatre was as a base point, that way I could also remember where I parked. Surprisingly, for a Friday afternoon it wasn’t as crowded as I expected it to be and I’m glad because from what my brother tells me it can get hectic when it’s really busy there. Aviana and I had a fun day here, seeing where my brother works and getting to explore this shopping area was a nice way to enjoy the afternoon. If you haven’t been here you should definitely go, there is plenty to do and buy. From the catching a movie to buying home items you can pretty much get anything at Tanger Outlets. It’s a nice place to go to for the day and to enjoy beautiful scenery.
