My go to summer curly hair styles

I’m sure every curly girl out there knows when it’s summer time and the weather is beautiful that you keep your hair up in a cute style. Leaving my hair out when it’s hot is sometimes a swing and miss with me because I want my hair to blow in the wind and not worry about having to spend a extra hour trying to diffusing since the nice weather is better for air drying. But, with me leaving my hair out means it sticking to my face and neck and feeling hotter then the actual temperature. Normally I’ll get my hair done through out the year maybe a total of 10 times or so but during the summertime, I’ll get it done when it’s not too hot but majority of the summer my hair is curly. I’m going to share my favorite styles for summer ☀️.

I normally leave my hair in a pineapple or ponytail like this. I use the Mane n Tail conditioner to smooth my hair down and then apply The Mane Choice edge control to keep my fly aways and curly q’s around my hair line tamed. Sometimes I either leave my hair in a high pony tail or a low one, this is my most go to style during the summer because it takes not even 5 minutes to do and it’s an easy style.I love doing low ponytails with a side part . I just part my hair and I apply conditioner and the edge control like before and I smooth and brush my hair down . But I use a toothbrush to smooth my edges more with conditioner first because it gives a good base for the edge control. Normally when I do this style it takes me a while because of the shrinkage I have and to make my ponytail look fuller I pull the hair more so it’s more full and fluffy. Sometimes I add edge control where my part is because there’ll be fly aways and it gets frizzy there so the product helps a lot . Of course you know o have to brush down the baby hairs , I always do with a low ponytail.
